Erik is the former Executive Director of the Arthur B. Schultz Foundation.
Erik earned a B.A. in Political Science from University of California, Davis in 1991 and an M.A. in Environmental Studies from Prescott College, AZ in 2006.
Philanthropic interests include socially- and environmentally-responsible economic development, wildlands conservation and wheelchair mobility issues. Personal interests include skiing, rivers, nature, live music and international travel.
Maggie earned her Masters in Public Administration from California State University, East Bay in 2004.
She has been working in the nonprofit sector for more than 12 years both in the US and in Africa. She lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for more than 10 years, where she gained experience in nonprofit administration and governance and became an advisor to donors and investors interested in fighting poverty in Africa in innovative and sustainable ways. Since 2006, Maggie has been living in her native country Kenya. She currently works with the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), an initiative that supports smallholder farmers in Africa to become food secure while raising their household income.
Maggie believes in philanthropy that seeks to empower, that is innovative and willing to take risks to improve conditions for the most vulnerable. Maggie is excited to be part of Thriive as it grows in breadth and depth.
Maggie’s favorite time of the day is spent with her three-year old and fifteen-year old sons.

Tae is the Founder of North Tahoe Executive Shuttle, a private vehicle service in the Lake Tahoe Resort Area, and TNT Digital Media, an SEO and Commercial Web Development service provider. He was the former CFO and COO of Digital Campaigns, a leading provider of Digital Tools for online Political and Social Campaigns.
Tae’s philanthropic interests include Political and Social Campaigns which focus on creating alternative methods and ideology for governance and social change. He also has a passion for interest groups protecting the environment. Tae speaks fluent Korean.
When not working, Tae prefers to be chasing powder, waves, rivers, good tunes and the next stamp on the passport.

In 2010, Linn helped launch Thriive from a successful grant program of the Arthur B. Schultz Foundation.
Linn spent 20 years as a lobbyist, policy analyst, activist and fundraiser for Idaho’s largest conservation organization, the Idaho Conservation League. In 2008, she changed direction to follow her long-held dream to improve the quality of life in developing nations with the Arthur B. Schultz Foundation, creating and managing strategic relationships and major donor fundraising for the foundation until 2011. Directing Thriive is the next step on that path.
Linn holds a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Texas, Austin. She enjoys international travel, wilderness adventures, skiing, music and reading.
Redwood City, California USA
Teresa is an advocate and supporter of environmental, educational, and economic development programs in the U.S. and Asia. Originally from Hong Kong, Teresa’s career in nursing and healthcare education instilled a strong passion for helping people. After leaving the medical field, she devoted her time to raising her children and doing volunteer work in the community before becoming involved with international development work.
Her varied interests are reflected in a diverse portfolio of projects that she is involved in, the latest being Thriive’s innovative pay-it-forward model to strengthen vulnerable global communities. She enjoys bringing people and organizations together through a holistic approach that encourages discussion and learning.
A firm believer in leveraging resources, Teresa considers it important to collaborate with other donors and organizations to raise awareness on social issues and concerns. She travels extensively in Asia and worldwide, visiting and monitoring Thriive’s programs and other projects.

Founder and CEO of Høvik Industriutvikling AS, operates as investor and advisor within project and business development. He is also President/Chairman of 4 small, emerging companies in Norway.
Einar has several years of experience within international business and project development.
Einar has been a Board Member at Arthur B. Schultz Foundation for 9 years, and has been involved with the Thriive concept since 2005. His philanthropic focus is on contributing to economic development utilizing the power of free enterprises and individual responsibility within a socially responsible framework.
He spends a lot of his free time traveling and retreats as often as he can to his mountain home for skiing and hiking with family and friends.
